The hire pricing are in weekly/monthly blocks, you can return the seat before or on the due date.

For children from birth to 12 months, we recommend fitting the seat in a rearward facing position.

Australian legal requirements states all children under 6 months old must be seated in a rearward facing position.  It is highly recommended child be seated in a rearward position for as long as possible.
